COMPARISON TO INDUSTRY STANDARD CHASSIS

In this report I will define the key differences between an industry standard chassis and the new Tresrey +10 chassis.
Below is an industry standard chassis. The aluminum generally used is - 6061 T6 which is one of the most common alloys of aluminum for general purpose use. This aluminum has good strength, however under a strong impact the metal will bend and never comeback to its original shape.
The chassis below started out as a 2mm sheet of aluminum that was put in a metal stamping machine to stamp out the basic shape of the chassis. The key part of this process is how the front caster kick up is made. Most chassis are manually bent up by machine to achieve the degree necessary for the caster kick up. This is where the 6061 T6 aluminum fails to keep its shape under stronger impacts. This is an inexpensive method of producing a chassis but not durable.
Below is a marvel of engineering – Tresrey +10 milled chassis it is constructed of the finest Aluminium alloy 7075 T6 which is an aluminum alloy, with zinc as the primary alloying element. It is strong, with strength comparable to many steels, and has great fatigue strength and has less resistance to corrosion than many other alloys. Its relatively high cost limits its use to applications where cheaper alloys are not suitable. This did not deter Tresrey to produce the highest quality chassis in the world. Key characteristics are:
The Tresrey +10 chassis starts out as a 1 inch thick block of 7075 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and is machined from the ground up on a high precision CNC machine to 3mm thickness instead of the industry standard of 2mm. The Tresrey +10 Chassis is also lighter weight than the standard Dex210 chassis because of 2 factors: superior 7076 T6 aluminum and innovative machining techniques that not only provide the lightest weight chassis but also the most durable chassis on the market today.
The most important feature unique to the Tresey chassis is the caster kick up. The 30 degree caster kick up is machined completely rather than bent like most competitors. This process of machining the caster kick up rather than bending; produces a much more durable kick up which keeps the cars geometry perfect.
Tresrey +10 chassis for the Dex210 a remarkable feat of RC engineering. You cannot buy a better chassis anywhere in the world.
